Uptime & SLA

The Uptime & SLA page tracks how reliably each device has stayed online, and flags any device that’s falling short of your target.

Beyond eyeballing the per-agent table below, you can define named SLA targets that Guardian tracks and saves on your behalf — the kind of number you’d hand to a customer or put in a contract.

Click + New SLA and set:

  • Name — e.g. “Production Fleet” or “Client X — Web Tier”
  • Scope — the whole fleet, one group, or a single agent
  • Target — 99.99%, 99.9%, 99.5%, 99.0%, or 95.0%

Each target shows a live card with its current month-to-date uptime percentage, total downtime so far this month, and a Meeting SLA or Breach badge. Unlike the per-agent table below (which only looks at whatever period you have selected), an SLA target’s compliance is tracked continuously and saved — delete one from the ✕ that appears on hover if you no longer need it.

You can also add an SLA Report tile for any target to a Dashboard.

Below your saved SLA Targets, two controls drive the per-agent table and fleet summary further down the page — a quick, unsaved way to eyeball any period against any threshold, separate from the named targets above:

  • SLA target — 99.9%, 99.5% (default), 99.0%, or 95.0%
  • Period — 7d, 30d (default), or 90d

Changing either recalculates every figure below.

Four cards summarize the fleet for the selected period:

  • Fleet Average — average uptime percentage across all agents
  • Meeting SLA — number of agents at or above your target
  • SLA Breach — number of agents below it
  • Total Downtime — combined downtime across all agents

Every agent is listed with:

  • Online/offline indicator, hostname, and OS
  • Uptime % for the selected period
  • SLA Status — “Meeting SLA” or “SLA Breach”
  • Downtime — total minutes/hours down
  • Incidents — count of downtime events
  • A progress bar showing uptime percentage, with a marker at your SLA target line

For any agent with downtime in the selected period, an incident log appears below the table showing each outage’s start time, end time (or “Ongoing” if it hasn’t resolved), and duration.

Downtime here is driven by the same offline events shown in Alerts. For a fleet-wide uptime rollup, see Overview. Manage the devices themselves in Agents.
