Dashboards

While Overview gives you Guardian’s default fleet-wide view, Dashboards let you build your own — arrange exactly the widgets you care about, in whatever order and size makes sense for you.

From Dashboards in the sidebar, click Create your first dashboard (or + New Dashboard if you already have one) and give it a name. You can create as many dashboards as you like and switch between them using the tabs at the top of the page.

Click + Add Widget, pick a type from the catalog, and fill in any configuration it needs (which agent or metric to track, a size, a title). Once placed:

  • Drag a widget by its tile to reorder it.
  • Click the size button in a widget’s corner to cycle it between small, medium, and large.
  • Click the ✕ in a widget’s corner to remove it.

Nothing is saved until you click Save Changes — if you navigate away or close the tab with unsaved changes, Guardian will warn you first.

Widgets fall into a few groups:

  • Metrics — Graph, Gauge, and Item Value show CPU/memory/disk for one agent or a fleet average; Item Card adds a trend indicator and sparkline; Item History shows raw recent readings as a table.
  • Fleet & hosts — Fleet Summary, Top Hosts, Top Items, Host Card, and Honeycomb (every host as a tile, colored by its worst open problem) summarize your whole fleet at a glance.
  • Alerts & problems — Problems, Problem Hosts, Alerts by Severity, and Top Triggers surface what needs attention and how often.
  • Uptime & SLA — Host Availability, SLA Report (for a target you’ve defined on the Uptime & SLA page), and Web Monitoring (your configured uptime checks).
  • Utility — Network Topology, Clock, and URL (embed an external page, like a status page or a vendor portal, directly in your dashboard).
  • Location — Geomap plots every site that has coordinates set on a world map, pinned green/amber/red by how many of that site’s devices are currently online.

Not every widget needs configuration — Fleet Summary and Clock, for example, work as soon as you add them. Others need you to pick an agent, a metric, or (for SLA Report) which saved SLA target to show.

Build the SLA targets an SLA Report widget can point at on the Uptime & SLA page. Configure the uptime checks a Web Monitoring widget summarizes from Settings. Set a site’s latitude/longitude on the Sites page (under Fleet Management) to make it appear on a Geomap widget.
