Billing & Plans
The Billing page shows your current plan, its status (active, trialing, past due, or canceled), and how many agents you’re using against your plan’s limit — with a usage bar that flags when you’re close to the cap.
| Plan | Agents | Users | SSO | PagerDuty | Data Retention | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 3 | 3 | — | — | 7 days | Free |
| Starter | 10 | 10 | — | — | 30 days | Paid monthly |
| Professional | 50 | 25 | — | — | 90 days | Paid monthly |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Unlimited | ✓ | ✓ | 365 days | Custom — contact sales |
Exact pricing for Starter and Professional is shown live on the Billing page. It comes straight from the plans on Guardian’s Paystack account, so it always matches what you are charged. Enterprise has no self-serve checkout — clicking it opens a contact form instead.
Drive-health history follows the Data Retention column. On-demand drive self-tests are available from Starter, and drive-health forecasts from Professional. Everything else (live monitoring, the network map, automated fixes, reports, and alerts to Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp and email) is on every plan.
SSO here means Guardian connecting to your own identity provider (SAML or OIDC) for centralized sign-in and access control — an Enterprise feature. It’s separate from the “Sign in with Google” / “Sign in with Microsoft” buttons on the login page, which are available on every plan.
PagerDuty is for incident escalation specifically — Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp for regular alerts are available on every plan.
This plan lineup isn’t fixed — new tiers can be introduced over time as pricing and features evolve, the same way most subscription products periodically add or retire plans. Always check this page for the current, authoritative list rather than relying on a cached view.
Upgrading or switching plans
Section titled “Upgrading or switching plans”Click a plan to upgrade or switch. Payment is handled by Paystack: a checkout widget opens in place, and once payment is confirmed your plan is activated immediately and your agent limit updates right away. Downgrading works the same way, through the plan picker.
Two ways to pay
Section titled “Two ways to pay”- Subscribe with a card (renews monthly). Your card is charged every month automatically until you cancel. This is the only option that renews by itself: Paystack can only auto-renew cards (and Nigerian direct debit, which is set up separately).
- Pay once for 30 days, with any payment method. Card, bank transfer, USSD, QR, mobile money, EFT, Apple Pay and Google Pay, whichever Paystack offers for your currency and country. It gives you 30 days of the plan and does not renew. Guardian reminds you 7 days and 2 days before it ends (in the app, and by email to the account’s contact address). If it isn’t renewed, the account moves back to Free one day after the end date; agents above the Free limit go to sleep, and no data is deleted. The same reminders go out when a card subscription has been cancelled or its renewal payment failed.
Where a plan has no recurring plan set up for your currency, only the pay-once option is shown.
Payment processing
Section titled “Payment processing”All payments run through Paystack. Guardian never stores your card details — Paystack collects and processes them directly, and Guardian only receives confirmation that a payment succeeded.
To update your payment method, pick a plan and check out again — your card is captured fresh each time. For an invoice or receipt, contact support with your tenant name and the charge date.
