Joining a class

With a code or link

1. Open the link your lecturer sent, or go to Join a class (/join) and enter the class code or paste the link. Codes are 8 letters and numbers (A to F and 0 to 9) and are not case sensitive.
2. Sign in if you are asked to. You return to the class afterwards.
3. Press Join this class.

If the page cannot find the class, check the code with your lecturer and make sure you typed it exactly. You can try about 10 times in 10 minutes before you are asked to wait.

With an email invitation

Open the link in the invitation email while signed in with the address it was sent to. If you do not have an account yet, sign up with that address first and then open the link again.

What your lecturer can see

Your lecturer can see your learning progress in that class: courses, lessons, quizzes and results. Nothing else about your account is shared. You can use the class’s assignments from Assignments in your dashboard.

If the class belongs to an organization with a licence, joining gives you a seat there, with the licensed plan while the seat is active. The join page tells you which plan (Pro or Pro + Mentorship) you will get. See Organizations and seats.
