Audit Log

The Audit & Security Log records every significant action taken in the dashboard — logins, user and group changes, settings updates, approvals, report generation, and security events like USB intrusions or configuration drift.

Each entry shows:

Column Description
Time Relative time, hover for the exact timestamp
Actor The user (or system) who performed the action, with IP address on wider screens
Action What happened, e.g. Login, Create user, Approve action, Generate report
Resource The resource type affected (User, Group, Setting, Pending Action, Report, Security Vault) and its ID
Detail Extra context about the action
Result Success or failure

Entries are written automatically as users interact with the platform — there’s no manual logging step.

Use the filters above the table to narrow results:

  • Actor — filter to a specific user or system account
  • Resource type — filter to a category like User, Group, Setting, Pending Action, or Security Vault

Use the Search box above the table to find text in any column, click a column heading to sort, and use Columns to show or hide columns. Click Clear filters to reset. The table shows up to the 200 most recent matching entries.

Filters, search and sorting are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view (for example /app/audit?resource=security) and the browser’s Back button works as expected.

Click a row (or focus it with the keyboard and press Enter) to open a side panel with the full entry: time, actor, action, resource, result, source IP and detail. Use the arrow keys, Home and End to move between rows. Entries are read-only and cannot be edited from the dashboard.

Click Export CSV to download the currently loaded (and filtered) entries as a CSV file — useful for handing a subset of the log to an auditor or compliance team.
